Nevaeh’s Coffee – December Box Review | Roast #1

Today we received our FIRST coffee subscription box from Nevaeh’s Coffee, a new coffee subscription service in Vancouver!

The box comes well packaged with an assortment of 4 different roasts from 4 different roasteries each month, full bean.

The December box 📦 contained:

1) Dogwood Coffee Co – Elimar Lopez Helsar dark roast

2) Transcend – Leonado Chamorro medium roast

3) Propellar Coffee Co. – Kenaya Lenana AB

4) Muskoka Roastery Coffee Co. – Howling Wolf medium roast

The box is simple! Just grind, brew and enjoy.

For day one we chose to try the Dogwood Coffee Co.’s Elimar Lopez Helsar dark roast, Roasted in Troy’s home town of Winnipeg, Manitoba!

We tried this both black and in Coffee misto format. It is definitely much better left alone to savour all the unique flavours like the packaging suggests.

The package suggests notes of honeydew melon, toffee and lemon sandwich cookies. We could definitely taste the notes of honeydew above the rest.

The roast is acidic but smooth.  We would rate this roast 3/5. Better than average and worth a try!
