Nevaeh’s Coffee – December Box Review | Roast #2

It’s been a while since I’ve enjoyed a nice pour over…Troy got me an espresso machine for Christmas and as a result it’s been all espresso, all the time. But this roast, Howling Wolf by Muskoka Roastery, is the exact roast that I’d been missing!

I’m usually a dark roast kind of gal but from the second I ripped open this bag, I was in love. This is the perfect medium dark roast and ideal for me! The aroma, as the description on the package claims, is irresistible…I even found myself smelling the beans while I write this blog.

There’s something very traditional about the taste of this coffee. The flavour is so rich. It reminds me of when I was growing up and my dad would have his coffee percolating over the fire when we were camping… I think that’s the first time I tried coffee so perhaps that’s why it’s remained such a strong flavour in my mind, but it’s a great memory and this coffee brings me back to it.

Usually I enjoy my coffee with some soy milk and a little sweetener but there is no need with this roast! I’m obsessed with the smooth finish. I could look forward to waking up with this roast in my cup every morning. I’d rate this a 5/5! Like I said, obsessed!
